In 1980, Vic Hanson opened Hanson’s Building Supply with a simple goal: serve South Whidbey Island with integrity, hard work, and hometown service. That foundation has supported generations of builders, homeowners, and do-it-yourselfers ever since.
In 2024, he expanded that vision with Hanson’s Garden Center—bringing the same values outdoors. Whether you're planting your first vegetable bed, refreshing your landscape, or just looking for inspiration, our team is here with friendly advice, locally grown plants, and everything you need to grow with confidence.
